Jeff and All, For those interested in Alydaar news from the Charlotte observer, an archive search option is available without becoming a subscriber. Only catch is that you can't get hot off the press news stories because they don't go into the archive until the next day. However you do have the advantage of searching all of the Knight Ridder newspapers. Stories are a buck a shot after signing up. see newslibrary.infi.net Regards, Gerry
