I've decided to post my market forecasts in chat rooms from now on, so I can't be held to past calls, and so I can't be pinned down on exactly what I said or didn't say. I'll hold live chats for small groups of Complacency Index subscribers. We'll start with about 2,000 members for each 10-second chat session, once a day, and seek to grow from there. Don't be late, because the room fills up quickly. The next session will be at 9:30 a.m. this morning, over at HappyChat. The sessions are conducted in Japanese and German.
Some have accused me of giving a sell signal yesterday. What I actually said was: "If the Dow closes at 10,125, SELL!!!!!" The market closed at 10,127, so there was no signal." I actually said, "BUY unspecified high-flying stocks if the market's going to be up 88 points at 10:03 tomorrow," and a quick check shows that it's up exactly that amount. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate myself!
