FWIW - Short-term long position opened in IDTI 1000 shares at 25.70

My reasoning is simple. CSCO is looking better. The Chicago PMI came in better than expected. The recession is over. Only taking 1000 shares at this time due to the continued weakness of the SOX. The Networking Index looks better today along with CSCO and that should help.

From Briefing.com: 10:04AM Nasdaq Composite Intraday : -- Technical -- An extension of the initial rally with some upside leadership finally beginning to develop in the biotech and networking (CSCO +4.7%) sectors. The index is facing short term resistance at 1773/1775 and 1781. First support is at 1763/60 with a more important short term floor at 1754.

10:02AM Chicago PMI much stronger than expected at 53.1% : The Chicago PMI rose to 53.1% in February from 45.1% in January; this is much better than expected and puts the index comfortably above the 50% breakeven mark. The Chicago index did better than just catching up with the national ISM index; this is another positive indication that the manufacturing sector has emerged from recession.

SOX Chart:

Wish me good luck!
