Sounds like Matsushita and NEC are about 1 year behind QCOM in WCDMA chipset and software development. Pretty interesting considering that QCOM blew off WCDMA for the better part of 1990's. I wonder how long it will take Q's competitors to bring their chipsets to the same level of integration that Q has in its latest generation of chipsets? That mixed-mode stuff is pretty tricky. microe
