Do you follow breakouts?
Agilent used to be HWP and the "real HP Way" went to Agilent... so it might be a better DOW stock... of course, I used to work there so I am biased...
anyway, it is now above the 200 DMA... had a nice cup with handle just before the breakout... stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[df][pb200,50!c200,50!f][vc60][iut!Uo14!La12,26,9]&pref=G
Good valuation on price/sales, etc... I bought some at $23 on 9/10 (talk about bad timing) and recently sold it to take profits, but I have many more shares... some bought at $30.. some bought higher and some in single digits (From HP spin-off) so fully disclosed... I'm long. :)
Same chart for T: stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[df][pb200,50!c200,50!f][vc60][iut!Uo14!La12,26,9]&pref=G I sold my T when they screwed the employees with AWE deal... I don't like companies that screw employees...
and WCOM: stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[df][pb200,50!c200,50!f][vc60][iut!Uo14!La12,26,9]&pref=G I got me sum dat at $6.90 (but also was buying the support before it crashed... so I'm still in da red on dat one)
one more I've been buying is CACS... Last buy was on 12/31 at $3.00 and that is just about to go above the 200 DMA line stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[df][pb200,50!c200,50!f][vc60][iut!Uo14!La12,26,9]&pref=G
These are all Telecom or suppliers with good valuation, no or reasonable debt and good balance sheet stuff...
Just thought I'd share where I've been putting my money durring this "correction". I agree that the last 2 yrs is just a big correction where some stocks went nuts... |
