Oprah had a special last week about middle school girl clicks. The guest psychologist was very informative as were the middle school girls who were brutally honest.

The bottom line is that girls learn about dealing with treachery at this stage and what a "real friend" is. I guess that is the only positive side to this. My daughters have been talking to me about it for a couple of years. I have great empathy for any kid at this stage in life. Its a tough time.
