I'm hardly upset at your choice of derogatory moniker. Such stuff has become an easy way to identify those folks who have an opinion with which you disagree these days.

Which is unfortunate, because several years ago you were one of the wise sages of SI, at least in my eyes.

When called out, you offer up in defense that it's 'cause you harbor a grudge? Please. If you are sincere in your desire to avoid confrontation, why refer to individuals (even if not by name) in a provocative or derogatory way?

Qualcomm is a company at the focal point: a bullish potential wrestling with a bearish perspective in a kind of blurry discontinuity. Those who see which way the balance tips are those who will prosper. Those who do not, well it depends on which side they are standing at the time I guess.

We have an opportunity here to inform each other. To help each other prosper. That is not well served in an atmosphere of antagonism and bile and spite.

It would be nice if we could keep the discussion to the issues on which millions of disagreements are voted daily in the market. And that depends on keeping our heads and our wits and our wallets.

I respect the topic and try to stick to it. And the people here. Even if on some subjects or another I disagree entirely.

It would be nice if you would do the same.
