Ten re: it's no secret that HyperThreading is only useful for certain apps, primarily server apps. I thought that it would help our desktop number cranchers that can run in distributable mode. Is it worth trying? re: so the option is there to turn it off. I was curious as to performance of ht system with option set to off vs comparable non-ht systems. Regards -Albert
