NW -- you mentioned 'storage' as being a money maker IF memory is correct from a day or 2 ago,, (age you know);; Single Digits Beckon EMC By James J. Cramer 02/28/2002 07:53 AM EST EMC (EMC:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) said things aren't so hot last night at a Roberston Stephens conference, confirming once again that all is not well in storage-land. When you combine that with the Hitachi (HIT:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) disappointment last night and what I am hearing about IBM (IBM:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis), you have a sense that this once-hot area has completely fizzled. What's the matter with storage according to EMC? How about everything: pricing is bad, demand is bad, the products don't seem to excite.
