Cramer 02/28/2002 07:53 AM EST EMC (EMC:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) said things aren't so hot last night at a Roberston Stephens conference, confirming once again that all is not well in storage-land. When you combine that with the Hitachi (HIT:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis) disappointment last night and what I am hearing about IBM (IBM:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis), you have a sense that this once-hot area has completely fizzled. What's the matter with storage according to EMC? How about everything: pricing is bad, demand is bad, the products don't seem to excite.
