He probably has some concerns about that and has planned to have two large football players sitting on either side of me to insure my non-participation.

I am making Theatre Cat Cookies to take to Ammo. THis is an old obscure theatre tradition you may never have heard of....indeed, it's so obscure I doubt anyone knows about it but me.

THree years ago, for the state one-act play competition in Austin, I made cookies for the cast. I thought they were very clever-- I frosted them and then painted a mask on each- either tragedy or comedy.
EVeryone seemed to love them and raved about how cute they were until one of the kids said softly to someone, "But why do they have cats on them?"
And the director said quickly, with one of those warning looks, "Because they are THEATRE cats! It's a Carroll High School Tradition!" Which it immediately became, of course.
And every opening night for the next three years, Mrs W. made enormous trays of Lucky Theatre Cat Cookies for the cast.
This will be easy since it is for just my special cast of one son. The worst was Guys and Dolls that had (I kid you not) 126 kids involved.
Anyway, I am off to the kitchen.
