My Jesus is God Himself, not a weak willed man who saw his life as but an unhappy sacrifice. Christ Jesus: Completely human, Completely divine in ONE. When you deny the deity of Christ, you deny Christ.
This is absolutely untrue , and still remains a thinly
veiled threat , which stems out of motivation of the Roman council 400yrs after his death to elevate JC to that Godhead, or Sauls's preachings of the miracle of the risen
Jesus . Is it your intent to threaten here ?
It is also absolutely clear in the millions of persecutions, crucifictions tortures and burnings that followed in the wake of this new Godhead staus of JC , to any and all that resisted this theological coup d'etat . The persecutions of non-christians completely dwarfs any and all of the early Christians by a huge margin . Not a great testemonial to the legacy of the "faith".
Persecutions and genocides of the pagans gentiles and Jews that lasted for centuries , but the church found it extraordinarily expedient during that time , to destroy all rivals in the name of that Godhead and their chosen "truth".

One can embrace many of the truths, pearls of wisdom, maxims & parables told , but not be blind to the "humaness"
and limitations of the teacher...and this Rabbai from Galillea was all to human I'm afraid , though it could be accomodated that he was a strong influence and contributer to a new way of thinking for his time.
In Islam , the Prophet Mohammed also saw Jesus as a fellow prophet but not God himself . And Mohhammed was much closer to that time than I .
In any case this tale of "The Only Son of God " , has beggoten much human misery in it's spreading for those that chose not to believe this very political move made by the Roman Empire's "holy" fathers of that time . |
