Relooking at RSTN today. So under $4 equates to approximately a $480 Million valuation? Reviewing the December earnings release they have about $325 Million in net cash. Not a bad deal.

Only thing that makes me hesitate is that I still associate this company with the old fumbling bumbling Cabletron.

Which brings up another point? Doesn't anybody remember the "last" telco capital spending crisis and how it played out? You know back when BAY was down to $10, FORE was struggling, CS was $5, ASND was going broke, Cascade was done, etc. Or in late 1994 when CSCO would never make it, or when CSCO would never recover in early '97, or when the world was ending in late '98 and taking CSCO with it, or when nobody would ever need more than a 28.8 modem? Seems we're back to that point again? All the experts are doom and gloom. Those that bought made tremendous money shortly thereafter. Every time. As long as they took the buyout money and left the acquirer alone.
