Unfortunatley, it appears as if you have succumbed to the great lie which denies the deity of Christ. Christ living His life through the individual represents a piece of the body. Every individual is a piece forming the whole which is the church. The church is not a building nor any organization. Peter, whom the Catholics claim the pope's lineage stems from, was but the rock that the church was built on. Not with wood but with Christ as the cornerstone. For God does not occupy any man made temple but He inhabits His creation. God's Spirit in me, and I the temple. Therefore, all this talk about the church and the many crimes done in the name of Jesus is moot because they were never done by those who truly know Christ. During the crusades many true followers of Christ were killed for not succumbing to the dis-illusion of the masses who killed in the name of Christ, something that is so contrary to Christ and against all that He was and is. We wage war against the principalities of this dark world. Our battle is against the spiritual forces of evil. That is a Christian's battle. Not against any man. You are ignorant of Christ, because you do not know Him. The gospel is foolishness to you because the god of this age has blinded your mind. If only you would let the light of Christ into your life to dispel the darkness and lead you back to the Father.
