Also, Jain officially filed to sell 267,000 of his shares, which was reported today. During the last conference call he said that he had planned to sell around 1% of his holdings though an independent blind trustee he would have no control over who would sell his shares a little at a time every day so that he could avoid selling in larger blocks of shares. Such an insider filing often has a temporary negative effect on the market price of s stock, sometimes not. In this case, because Jain announced his intentions beforehand on the conference call, it really shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. It's impossible to tell how much Jain's plans to sell 1% of his holdings may have had on the stock price.
