Milo,

Mobile T-bred 1400+ at 16watts seems pretty nice.

2000+ at 16 watts would be nicer.

Barton may not be necessary, maybe they want to start working on mobile clawhammers on SOI as opposed to SOI A4's?

We will see what the power consumption figures for the first Clawhammer will be, to see where approximately it can get at .09u. With Clawhammer (and no Barton) in 2003, AMD would have to concede the thin and light back to Intel, since there will be nothing to compete with Banias.

There is something that tells me that AMD was just trying to confuse people. There obviously will be K7 Athlons in 2003. Didn't AMD say in one of the CCs that they are moving to all SOI wafers (or is it my imagination?).
