One major contributor to greenhouse gases is of course livestock, especially cattle, flatulence. It is claimed that one cow is as potent as 600 humans in this regard.

Government studies of this have drawn some mockery in Congress and elsewhere, but the methane thus produced is significant. Of those who would devote themselves to the analysis of this issue, I say, "More power to them.!"
