BIA - a lot of Hispanic immigrants to the US from countries get involved in criminal acts here, especially ones from Central America. I don't see many adult Asians involved in crime but it does happen - more common to see the younger ones get involved in gangs.

The worst were the Marielitos from Cuba - those were mostly hard core criminals, caused a lot of problems.

I am a lawyer, occasionally handle criminal cases. Probably the type of people you associate with don't spend much time in criminal court.
