...you take a salmon filet and marinate it in Sea Salt or Kosher Salt, lemon juice and fresh dill; day or two in the fridge later ~ voila !

iirc, "gravlox" is yiddish word; ie., "lox" is 'salmon' as in "lox and bagels".
