I believe that this decision was expected by people familiar with TVX and that the drop in price won't last too long.

The real opportunity is between TVX and Normandy/Newmont/FN: If TVX isn't taken over, then I would expect there to be a deal to rationalize the ownership of their 5 shared mines. I assume that the large company with the large bank account will end up buying out TVX's interests at a premium and/or selling their own interests to TVX at a discount.

But, it will take time . . .
