Thank you Bob! Nothing could be more indicative of a top, than having the "Waiting for the big Kahuna" thread host a competition for longs!!! Perhaps Thursday's pop was a result of the last bears lumbering for cover! Remember, technology will be reporting soon. Most have warned of Q2 weakness, all will give guidance for Q3. (Will those Europeans be out on vacation again?) Consumer non-durables: Looks like KO had to top off weak earnings with another bottler sale. Also, KO & General Mills Corp have announced price increases. Is this the end of cost savings due to down-sizing, right-sizing, re-engineering, restructuring . . .? How will earnings continue to grow faster than the top line going forward? Consumer durables: The strong dollar will make it real tough for Detroit to grow profits. Still keeping the faith, John.
