If George W. Bush is sued for sexual harassment and he lies, obstructs justices, hides evidence and suborns perjury, I strongly recommend that congress impeach him. You?

Well, this is a problem now that a precedent has been set. I certainly wouldn't recommend impeachment during a war unless the crime were treason.

Of course, this scenario would play out differently the next time. Part of the reason it happened in the first place is that it was standard practice pre-impeachment. Politicians covered up sexual scandals. It was just assumed. "Everybody does it." People do what customs and practices dictate. When, all of a sudden, something happens that changes things, the last guy to follow the old custom gets a nasty surprise--burned--and everyone else cleans up their acts. So when the same situation comes up again, it really isn't the same situation. The next guy should know better.
