That sounds like a difficult class. I have a few children with behavioral disorders, and one child who is marginally retarded, but aside from having some very active children, there aren't any that are impossible to control. Of course this is a second grade class. I will only teach 2nd and 3rd grade. You couldn't pay me enough to get me to teach K or 1st, and I do not like the large class sizes in 4th and 5th. 2nd and 3rd grade are a real sweet spot in elementary, imo. But I talk to kindergarten teachers who just love what they do, and dislike older children, so go figure.
