... on SI, Brad and Jeff long ago set it up so you could shorten the url and retain its clickableness [is that a word] by adding #reply- to its post number, so you put the cursor in between the = and the 1 there, backspace to wipe out everything else, and type #reply- in front of it, thusly - #reply-17138521
Same with a subject, take the url - Subject 7890
... cut the number out of it, type in front of the number #Subject- , and voilá - #Subject-7890
But this is a scarey thread, mostly i stay away from it, these guys with the hamsters and the tubes and the lighters, i mean what if i dropped something and had to bend over .... but the stock, the stock is good and i like it very much, price of platinum likely helping it along on the course of not abusing me as i hold it ... i had four that i figured belonged well above the three-loonie level - suf.to, bay.to, mfl.to, swg.to ... suf is making it, bay is sorta maybe making it, mfl and swg are taking their own sweet time making it, but they will ..... sure i can see five-loonie suf, why not, look at what it earns per share starting real soon, six loonies is not unreasonable imho and markets often overshoot so hey why not nine ... only thing is if maybe down in RSA there they start getting into this hamster/tube/lighter thing, oooo scarey ... and we have all seen politicians do stupider things, have we not |
