True, he was impeached for perjury. But what he did, if done by any lower level federal employee, would get them canned. The company I work for has a specific prohibition against anything remotely resembling that sort of relationship between a subordinate and a supervisor. That's lawsuit city.

There's a specific problem for most Presidents, too, at least these days. In the TV and sound-bite age especially, photogenic looks, charisma, charm, the ability to appeal, ambition, drive... all the characteristics that would be common in successful womanisers, and likely to go along with a high sex drive...
Of course, every now and then you'll get a reaction back from that extreme. After the meat serving comes the vegetable <gg>
And Clinton's predecessor and successor managed, I'm sure by exercise of inhuman moral strength, to avoid taking advantage of the full range of "perks" that are possible with that position. |
