You might try cleaning out the inside of your computer. Buy one of those cans of compressed air and after taking the cover off your computer see if you can get rid of the dust bunnies and various foreign objects that get accumulated within. If you don't do this on a regular basis, you'll be surprised at what builds up. Heat within the computer tower is a killer. Crank it back up with the cover still off and see if you can locate the noise source. Be careful not to touch anything in there. You can receive a nasty shock.
