The area of gene therapy (GT) is sleepy in terms of share price, but in terms of progress there is satisfying new science on all fronts. I bought 500 shares of Cell Genesys last week on their announcement of factor IX production in mouse liver using AAV vectors. The mouse made human factor 9 for 9+ months! The market is chosing to value big pharma this year(DRG index up 35%+) but I believe the pendulum will swing to a select group of GT companies soon. I predict that ARIA, CEGE, and TGEN will double in 12 months or so.
