hdl, They call that Kismet.

I didn't make Woodstock, as I was in the Army in Germany at the time. Ditto for Altamont. But I was stationed in Monterey at the Language Institute for the original, and I definitely made that one. I even saw Michelle Philips in the bookstore. I met the late Dino Valenti, too, but didn't know he had written "Hey, Joe," (btw, there is some controversy on that one as one fella claims Dino stole it) and figured he was just another garage band wannabe. I bought his solo album when I was overseas and bought several of the Quicksilver Messenger Service albums when he was the lead singer, main songwriter.

I also met a nice guy whose main claim to fame was tv show theme songs. His name was Quincy Jones. Didn't mean squat to me at the time. <g>
