Hi Jim. No, The SmallCap Investor is not compensated for writing our Stock of the Month reports. We are an advertising supported site. (Those banner ads you see on most of the pages.) Our goal is to provide useful information and quality stock picks so that not only will our visitors keep coming back to our site, but they will also tell their friends about us. We would like to be known as a trustworthy site on the web, and being paid to write a Stock of the Month report would not be consistent with that. By the way, the June issue of Individual Investor called The SmallCap Investor "the standout in a handful of trustworthy small-cap information providers on the Internet." Coincidentally, much of the article focused on how difficult it can be to find quality research on the web that isn't paid for by the company.
