You forget. I was a registered Republican from '72 to '98 ... until the right wing of the Republican Party and hate-mongers such as Tom DeLay and Rush Limbo rose to the top like bubbling crude and drowned out the moderate Republican voices like Jeffords.

I'm also proud to report my wife went down to the courthouse this past week and changed her party registration from Republican to Democrat. She is more conservative than me. However, seems she was listening to AM right-wing hate radio this week when some clown-host called Glenn Beck started verbally assaulting the WSJ reporter who was killed recently. Said something to the effect that he had it coming to him because he was Jewish.
That was the last straw for her.

So all I can say is this: Keep up that right-wing rage on the radio, because it's working. But in the opposite direction.
