Rat, the one time CNBC helped me make a lot of money was when they had the special bulletin of the Fed's doing an intraday rate cut.

I quickly bought, without even thinking, about 5 stocks and made lotsa cash.

Other than that, they are pretty worthless. About the only thing I like is hearing from CEO's they have on.

And yes, they have less power to move the Markets than others think or they hope.
