Then there is MSFT. MSFT expects phones to overtake PCs as the way users access the Internet, Vp Ben Waldman said.

So they don't want to manufacture terminals. They only want to license the software such as the Windows CE OS.

This puts in collision course -this one we have keeping tracking. Now MSFT is going to talk to operators. This is scary for the traditonal wireless vendors. As scary as CSCO talking with the fixed-line operators in bubble times.

But MSFT is scary:

- Owns content MSN, MSNBC anbd WebTV
- Terminals as, client PCs, Laptops, handhelds, Tablet PC and game consoles.
- Bought 5% of Korean operator and was offered an additonal 4.5%. It has a bed for trailing.
- Has already a few trials. VoiceStream, T-Mobil and Telstra
- Deployed platform Stinger Smartphone and;
- A few HTC, Mitsubishi, Sendo and Samsung are developing Stinger -base phones.
- Can leverage presence -and weight- of its presence in mobile Internet. Most probably here with WLANs.

When I look to this I think it is going to be present in MMS as spring board to 3G.
