CB, My prediction is that they will print a bunch of "Barternotes" and then one day, the holders will be out of luck. The barter system will default and collapse. Barter will revert to trustworthy people in personal contact. Those who issued the Barternotes will have diddled everyone nicely!

The US$ or some real currency, such as the Q, will take over. Since cyberspace in Argentina is still only in the imagination phase and the Q is a wishful glimmer in my head, I dare say the US$ is likely to predominate for a few years.

I expect that Argentina will issue some new currency and that'll take over for a few years, pending the Q.
