mmmary, The woman won the topless lawsuit because the defendant(s) did not reply to any legal paperwork, nor were they represented in court. She won a default judgement. As such, no precedents were set. I don't know why the suit went uncontested, but usually the reason(s) is that there is either no money to defend, or jurisdictional issues (so why bother defending)... Even though the lady "won", I'm not sure that the victory wasn't "hollow" so to speak... KJC
