John thanks for your insight.

I want to get into some of the second level semi equip suppliers, like FLEX, CREE and others supplies to OEMs.

I would think the smaller suppliers of the AMATs and NVLS of the industry might see commitments and bookings before the bigger OEMs. I says this, as I feel the salesmen and women for the larger semi equips would need to know their suppliers are ready before they commit to a multi million dollar contacts that could have delay penalties.

Buying 1000 pc boards for a distribution suppliers has little risk of cancellation or delay penalties, where as the larger OEMs sign contractual agreements with cancellation fees for the customer and delay fees for the OEM.

I would think the OEM contracts would be sign only after a good understanding of the material supply and labor loading.

Heck, WDIK, the OEMs may just wing-it.

Good luck.

Stan
