The naked short: I will be in touch with the NASD, SEC and some lawyers to alert them that a blatant "naked short" is in progress or has actually happened. I want to be sure that nothing illegal on this side of the trade is occurring. I know the other side doesn't worry about legal/illegal. If all is OK I will then (confirmed with hard copies and all the CYA's that are necessary for the powers at large), continue the "set-up" with their graces. Set-up is kinda a misnomer. How can it be a setup if it is pre-announced that XYZZ is being purchased to "set-up" and/or confirm a naked short? After the powers to be give their "graces/blessing" we shall see what happens. This may all be a waste of time but no matter what it will surely be an education. If anything it will surely spark conversations, discussions, arguments, etc. Stay tuned or PM me if you would be interested in participating. I would like some help contacting the proper authorities before moving forward.
