You are right with these sector and country funds.

I was looking at the Russian fund the day it got it's first shot in the arm and Yogi's system also put out a buy that day. Well my self talk was that this country is in shambles and caused me to miss a double on some of my capital. Did the same darn thing with Korea on this cycle. Live and learn. <g>

I don't mind holding these small caps for a while. Duram was a good win, but it took a while for management to get the product accepted in the market place. As long as they have a product that is useful, management that is expanding the business or getting things in place to expand the business and have profits to cover the cost of getting the job done I have no problem waiting. It sure is rewarding when the world starts recognizing the value.

We are going to have to figure out what tech is when the drubbing is over. Suspect we will have some new technology and new companies to invest in. Have been doing a small amount of research in nano tech ... maybe an area for someone close to this technology to help us. Bio technology is rapidly changing also.
