Well, I spoke with Stockett. It turns out that the $1,000,000 which Sinclare was supposed to have for advertising etc... was coming in $200,000 installments from Kurt Jones. However, Kurt Jones had a heart attack and passed away. Sinclare only received $200,000.
I spoke with Stockett about the BAI deal. Apparently BAI misrepresented themselves. Sinclare has been receiving monthly installments form them.
I also talked with him about Select Capital (I also spoke with Mrs. Sifford, she didn't know much except that Stockett was planning some kind of a Mutual Fund of Bulletin Board stocks. She told me to call Stockett). I told him they had soem legal troubles back in 89'. He knew about them and an individual involved who is still with the company. I asked him if the same thing which happened with BAI would happen with Select. He said he didn't know. Thereafter I questioned him as to what they would do if the deal did fail. He said "business as usuall", they owuld go on as regular. When asked if they would find another investment banker, he said they don't have to neccessarily do that.
When will Flexquote be back up? According to Stockett, a month (hopefully, I would guess).
Well, tonight I leave for six and a half weeks. I may be able to check in every now and then but I am not sure. Anybody think I should ourchase some Sinclare before I leave?
Ohh, one more. I asked Stockett when they would be getting any money from Select. Well, there overdue for a payment. |
