Thanks for the idea, but both partitions are FAT 32.

I was only planning to use the dual boot to ease the transition. At this point, I'm going to cut my losses and forget about the dual boot. If Boot Magic can't figure out the mess, I doubt it's worth the effort to pursue it. It will probably save time in the long run to just get the new OS working asap.
