Pearly, the thing that got my attention about Enron was their stupidity in Financing and Building a power plant in India. After the experience of the American chemical company that India just about bankrupted over there a few years back, with phony insurance claims, you would think that they would know not to get involved.

India is refusing to pay for the power they are getting from the plant, and it was one of the initial things that put them in big trouble. I think it is about a four billion dollar hit.

I was in business in Southern California for 40 years, and was tempted to do some manufacturing over the border. But every little guy like me I talked to that had done business over the border had been screwed. It is tough enough to make a living here in the states. I don't envy the people who run multi-national companies!
