<is MNP management competent?>

I would say they have a very good track record and are professional explorationists. And in my mind buying stock and warrants at a dime/12 cents is the mark of competent (but self serving?) individuals. You've some stakeholders here, including Jipangu and management. I guess the good news is that we can be in along side at a dime too, at least for now. It will be interesting to see if anybody but retail has picked up the ten million Carpenter shares?

MNP has been put on the backburner until recently, and there has been little attempt at investor relations. When I initially started dabbling in the stock two years ago (it's the biggest percentage loser in my twenty stock portfolio, in fact about the only big loser) they had an outstanding contact person who has left. I would say they are still weak on IR. I've never spoken directly with Chet I (has anybody?), but since I've seriously loaded up recently maybe I should.
