well, i'll put in my two canuck (peso of the north) cents on all this:

a) if people are interested in a gold index type fund, there is the xgd (key in xgd.to on yahoo finance) which is an ETF traded on the toronto exchange. to my knowledge it has only a few golds there, such as abx, pdg, the new newmont (it was franco b/4), agnico, meridian, and i think kinross. i think it is in the low 40's canadian $ right now...
b) i'm getting nervous on gold too, and somehow i have the feeling that a 'maybe it is time to think of selling some' type of post on one of the 'gold friendly' threads might be met with some derision...that could be a sign...the guy on the site www.goldminingoutlook.com thinks now is not yet the time for gold
c) stillwater, well, you know, rah-rah <g>
