Gerry, I just got faxed a copy of the article. Wow. Very nicely done. The headline (on the front business page) "Moon shot in the making" is in big bold letters; the text follows.

On the bottom of the page is a three dimensional graph of the stock price since January-- with peaks and valleys represented as terrain on the moon, an imaginative touch.

My guess is that most of the volume today is from new, localized buyers. I saw the same thing happen a while back when the CEO, Bob Gruder, was interviewed by a DC area radio station.

Someone here mentioned that the average person still does not understand the magnitude of the money that is being spent on Y2K code remediation. After surveying some friends and relatives this past holiday weekend, I absolutely agree. Say what you like about the valuations of Y2K companies, but until the masses pile on, you aint seen nothin' yet. Pick the right company (read: ALYD), and who knows what heavenly body we'll be soon visiting.
