What are you talking about? Do you have the slightest clue? The issue was Peter Eliades' observation that cheif/Wolanchuk was non-stop bullish throughout the 2000 – 2001 decline.

Instead of refuting the facts of the observation, or at least demurring, he attacked Eliades’ integrity.

Cheifie later acknowledged the essence of Eliades' observations:

can you understand what you read?

In various posts recently cheifie has personally attacked the integrity of various members of this thread, allowing readers to infer that the factual record of his miscalls that these posters presented were not true.

The issue is one of credibility. Listening to cheifie’s advice the last two years has led to financial ruin for his followers. You think that is humorous? You are an idiot.

As to the possibility of a 23 year bull market, I’ve pointed out the 40 year cycle numerous times on SI since 1998 - 23 years of up and 17 years of sideways to down. I’ve also pointed out the analogy to the 1942-1966 time period.

I first learned of the cycle from William O’Neil of IBD at a presentation he gave in 1988. O’Neill had it well before Wolanchuk ever did.

Here is a chart of the cycle:

Notice how there is a little problem as you get to the final 20th year bottom, in 1877 and 1962, before the last blastoff?
