enigma,

As I mentioned in another post, I am reading a book on the Israeli postion on the Middle East. Its called A Durable Peace. It really goes in to the heart of the problem in the Middle East. And I can tell you, the writer Netanyahu really makes a solid point that the Arab world all wants us to think the only problem in the Middle East is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Well he makes a good case it is not the only one, with many others lingering. He said its an Arab/Muslim ploy to wage a public relations war, to make it seem this way. They want you to think that if the Israeli conflict was solved, all the problems of the Middle East are solved. Its a lie, according to the writer, with good evidence to back him up.

It goes specifically into the Six Day war, and the events of it. And it states the rights of ownership issue very clearly and factually about Israel and the surrounding land. It looks to me, and I suggest you read the book to make your own opinion, that the Arabs should be happy with what they have right now. And their claim to the occupied territories is very, very weak.

God Bless,
IGIT
