It specifically mentions GPSone experience....I wonder how much Qualcomm is going to charge <g>. jobsearch.monster.com US-CA-San Diego-Senior GPS Product Integration & Test Engineer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qualified candidate will be responsible for the system design and integration of GPS technology into our next generation CDMA handsets. Desired experience: CDMA experience and/or cellular phone experience. GPSOne experience and IS-801 knowledge is preferred. Responsible for designing product at system level and focus on integration of BB HW, RF HW, SW and mechanics. Interface to all disciplines to define the product at the system level to meet performance and product requirements. Responsible for integration of hardware and software in the lab environment. Responsible for system test of platform to ensure that it is ready for the Product Test line and interface to Product Test engineers. Responsible for feedback of product performance to all other disciplines. Qualifications: Position requires proven experience in high volume in GPS product integration and testing environment. Requires a BSEE and 3+ years of experience in GPS product integration from design to manufacturing. Qualified candidate will have a broad knowledge of product and interfaces as well as know GPS system and how to test them. Must be able to locate problems during integration and work with appropriate technology groups to solve them. Position requires a basic understanding of RF systems as well as basic knowledge of digital systems and algorithms. Must be able to read and modify C code and have experience with high volume product GPS integration and testing.
