Over seas is up: The benchmark Nikkei was up 239.30 points or 2.21 percent at 11,051.30 by 7:11 p.m. EST Sunday, while the capital-weighted TOPIX index rose 22.00 points or 2.14 percent to 1,052.17. The Nikkei cleared the psychologically important 11,000 mark for the first time since December 6.
