This has to do with the adequacy of the type of explanation used by science for these particular phenomena...... Any scientists worth their salt will admit from the start that there is a great deal missing from the picture. This is no reason to assume that the picture cannot be filled in as knowledge expands, and no reason to resort reflexively to supernatural explanations for phenomena that we cannot yet explain.
