To be sure, they are making hay while the sun shines for them. But it may also be good for the economy in that war requires manufacture of war materiél and other supplies. This means increase in employment and this must be good.

To be sure, more cash will be printed for spending. This will lead to increase in inflation and weakening of the dollar. (But they don't really care as this sort of thing has been going on for nearly a century and the US dollar has lost more than 90% of its worth.) And it seems to be do-able as long as other currencies also weaken.
