The deposit was originally discovered in outcrop but Mr. McKay who staked it in 1930 or so. He never lived to see it developed as a mine but spent several years prospecting it. A VSE company, now defunct, called Kerrisdale Resources optioned the property from McKay and actually drilled the discovery hole in the main zone. How could this happen and what did Chet know? Promotion?
